We lost one of our best Community Service projects this year as the Moffett Field gift wrap is no longer necessary (and thanks to all of you who participated in the past). But there are plenty of other opportunities this time of year as we gear up for the holidays. One of our chapter goals is to be examples in our communities of the AARP motto, “To serve, not to be served.” Please keep track of any time you spend this month helping others, personally, or through other organizations in which you participate. The purple envelope awaits at our monthly meeting, and Ken has his year-end report to deal with (be kind to him!)
